Tom Love

Tom Love is a sales coach, CEO, mentor, speaker, and author with nearly five decades of experience in sales and wealth-building. Love attended Ferris State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services. He began his career at Mutual of New York, later joining John Hancock, and after 17 years, moved to Ohio National, where he led the company in sales for several years. Love has been the top producer with The Career Distribution Channel eight of the past nine years.

Love launched The Breakaway League, a group of agents focused on educating financial advisors about wealth-building strategies and the impact of the tax code on retirement. He leads a national group of advisors, teaching strategies for tax-efficient wealth accumulation and asset management. Love works with clients managing $1.6 billion in assets not subject to income taxes, and his expertise in financial strategy and tax planning has established him as a recognized voice in the financial services industry.

Love has presented at the Million Dollar Round Table and served on the board of AALU, including roles on the Finance Committee and Foundation Board, as well as the merged GAMA/AALU Foundation Board. These roles reflect his standing among peers in the financial and sales sectors.

Love developed the Explanation of Services (EOS) method, a framework for identifying prospects aligned with a client's beliefs and optimizing time management in sales. He has presented this methodology at events such as the TAB Retreat in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Love is also the author of the book "Turning Clients into Advocates," which explores strategies for building strong client relationships and emphasizes client-focused service.

As a sales coach, Love addresses topics including sales and productivity, business and time management, client retention, and leadership development. He speaks at live and virtual events, offers online courses, and provides one-on-one coaching. Love's approach centers on helping others achieve their own definitions of success, a philosophy that continues to guide his work in the financial services and sales industries.
