Tom Levenick

Tom Levenick is a former Ohio State Buckeyes football player, author, motivational speaker, and business executive with a background in athletics, leadership, and business development. Levenick played under coaches Woody Hayes and Earle Bruce and was a member of three bowl teams: the Gator Bowl, the Rose Bowl, and the Fiesta Bowl. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from The Ohio State University, combining athletic training with academic discipline to build a career spanning business, athletics, and public service.

Levenick completed the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon World Championship and held multiple vice president-level leadership roles with companies including The Winterbrook Beverage Group, Coors Brewing Company, and Labatt USA, later serving as president of PowerPlay Strategies. He is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership and the Wharton Business School Executive Development Program. These experiences in high-performance athletics and corporate leadership inform Levenick’s expertise in leadership, resilience, and organizational success.

Levenick authored the book "Buckeyes for Life," drawing on his experiences within college football to share stories about the Buckeye Brotherhood and the principles of winning, teamwork, and personal development. The lessons in "Buckeyes for Life" serve as a guide for success in both business and everyday life.

Levenick remains connected to Ohio State athletics and the Buckeye community, helping to found the Buckeyes for Life and Beyond the Goal Line charities. He received the Ohio Gold Award from the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Columbus Chapter, recognizing his contributions to college football through leadership and service. His commitment to service and community engagement is central to his message.
