Todd Bodine

Todd Bodine is a two-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion whose career is recognized as one of the most accomplished and enduring in the history of NASCAR's national series. Nicknamed The Onion for his signature bald head, Bodine's NASCAR career spanned more than 800 starts across the sport's top three series. The younger brother of Geoff Bodine and Brett Bodine, both race drivers, Bodine established his own legacy, becoming one of the most decorated competitors in Truck Series history.

Bodine's path to the top was built on persistence and versatility. He made his Busch Series debut and won his first NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Budweiser 200. His NASCAR Cup Series record includes seven top-five and 21 top-10 finishes, five pole positions, and wins in the NASCAR All-Star Open, the qualifier for the NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. While competitive across all three of NASCAR's top series, Bodine made his most significant impact in the Truck Series.

Bodine won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship by 122 points over Johnny Benson Jr., with three wins, 12 top-five finishes, 16 top-10 finishes, a pole at Atlanta, an average finish of 8.4, and zero DNFs. This marked both Bodine's and Toyota's first championship in any division. His first Truck Series championship came with Germain Racing, when he set a record for 21 consecutive races atop the point standings. He repeated the achievement by leading Germain Racing to a second Truck Series championship on the strength of four wins, 17 top-five and 20 top-10 finishes. In the Truck Series, Bodine became the first driver to collect back-to-back victories at Daytona International Speedway and the first to win four consecutive superspeedway races at Talladega and Daytona.

Bodine competed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Texas Motor Speedway, Sonoma Raceway, Nashville Superspeedway, and Pocono Raceway, earning a top-10 finish and becoming just the 28th driver in history to achieve 800 NASCAR national-series career starts. Bodine has referred to this period as his farewell tour, known as The Onion's Last Ride.

A two-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, Bodine has served as a pit reporter and analyst for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on FOX NASCAR, sharing his in-depth knowledge and experience with a broad audience.
