Tiffani Faison

Tiffani Faison is a Boston-based chef and restaurateur known for her bold culinary style, dynamic personality, and strong work ethic. As the force behind Big Heart Hospitality, she has built a portfolio of popular restaurants including Sweet Cheeks Q, Fool’s Errand, and Orfano, along with newer concepts like Dive Bar, Tenderoni’s, and Bubble Bath, all recognized for their inviting atmosphere and inventive menus.

Faison trained under acclaimed chefs such as Daniel Boulud, Alain Ducasse, and Todd English, and first gained national attention as the runner-up on the inaugural season of "Top Chef." After working in top kitchens across the country, she returned to Boston in 2010, earning critical acclaim as Executive Chef of Rocca Kitchen & Bar before launching her own ventures.

Her flagship restaurant, Sweet Cheeks Q, opened in 2011 and quickly became a standout for its Texas-inspired barbecue, earning widespread praise and multiple “Best of Boston” honors. She continued to expand her influence with concepts like Tiger Mama, Fool’s Errand, and Orfano, each reflecting her creativity and range.

A three-time James Beard Award nominee, Faison has also been recognized by Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe, and the Boston Business Journal. Beyond her restaurants, she is a frequent television personality, serving as a judge on "Chopped" and appearing on numerous national programs. She is also an active advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and serves on several nonprofit and industry boards.
