Taylor Calmus

Better known to the internet as “Dude Dad”, Taylor Calmus is a rising comedian and social media star from Fort Collins, Colorado. Since becoming a father for the first time in 2016, he has worked to build “one happy corner of the internet” through his weekly Dude Dad vlogs, sharing his hilarious and relatable take on family life. He has built a massive audience across all the major social media platforms, including 870,000 TikTok followers, 422,000 YouTube subscribers, and 416,000 Instagram fans. His content has amassed over 11 million likes on TikTok and nearly 91 million views on YouTube. These are incredible statistics for a down-to-earth guy whose chief passions in life are his family and DIY. In 2021, he launched "Super Dad," a TV series in which he and his team help families to build epic things (treehouses, skate ramps, etc.) for their kids.

Calmus and his family were living in Los Angeles where he was an actor and comedian (he appeared in various Jimmy Kimmel sketches, for example), but they decided to get away from it all and move to Fort Collins, Colorado. There, they bought a house that had plenty of potential but needed doing up. Calmus chronicled his DIY journey, building both a home and audience along the way. Over time, his content has evolved to cover everything from DIY tips to music video parodies to sketch comedy.
