Tara Anderson

Tara D. Anderson is a cybersecurity leader whose career spans finance and digital security. With two decades of experience in banking, private equity, and venture capital, Anderson serves as a cybersecurity advisor, bringing expertise in cyber risk management, information security, and digital transformation. After a personal event changed her approach to learning and information retention, Anderson transitioned to IT and cybersecurity, shaping her professional mission and approach to the field.

Anderson has held roles including Managing Partner at Framework Security, a cybersecurity consultancy recognized as Clutch Awards' "Top Cybersecurity Company in Los Angeles." She has appeared on InfoSec Institute, Cyber Security Matters, KSL Radio, KSL News, KUTV Fresh Living, Park City Television, IBMTV World Edition, and CyberTalk with Rex M. Lee, as well as numerous panels and podcasts focused on cybersecurity, cybercrime, and cyber warfare. As a Founding Partner, Ethical Hacker, and Incident Handler at Survivor Security, Anderson has developed hands-on expertise in both offensive and defensive security practices.

Anderson is an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council, a member of the Tortora Brayda Institute Excellence AI & Cybersecurity Task Force, and serves on the Cyber Resilience and Data Ethics Expert Council. She is also affiliated with the Women Tech Council and other organizations that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in cybersecurity, privacy, and technology. Anderson advocates for neurodiversity in the cybersecurity industry, drawing from her experience co-founding Cognitive SLC, a consultancy founded by neurodiverse professionals, and supporting Framework Security's mission to make cybersecurity accessible to small charitable organizations.
