T.I.

Beyond his impact in entertainment, Tip “T.I.” Harris has built an influential career as an entrepreneur, investor and community advocate. A Grammy Award-winning artist with 11 hit albums, Harris has earned honors from the Grammys, Billboard, BET and the American Music Awards, while appearing in blockbuster films and top-rated television projects including “ATL,” VH1’s “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” “American Gangster” and Marvel’s “Ant-Man.” In 2023, he made his directorial debut with the fully independent comedy “Da ’Partments.”

Harris has also established a diverse business portfolio that includes a record label, the clothing brand Akoo — an acronym for “A King of Oneself” — a real estate holdings company, a production company, a nonprofit organization, Us or Else, and the Trap Music Museum. His ventures also include co-ownership of Bankhead Seafood, ownership of Super Sound Studios, and investments across multiple industries.

Civically engaged, Harris has served on the mayor of Atlanta’s transition team, focusing on policy and legislation, and currently sits on the city’s Reimagining Atlanta Task Force, which promotes restorative justice and community-based approaches to incarceration. His advocacy centers on economic mobility and equity in underserved communities. He has been recognized as a thought leader at the U.S. Capitol, Operation HOPE initiatives, Congressional Black Caucus events and Forbes business conferences.

Harris is the recipient of ASCAP’s inaugural Voice of the Culture Award and hosts the No. 1-rated podcast “expediTIously with Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris.” He is currently working on two albums, “Kiss the King” and “Kill the King,” with the lead single from “Kiss the King,” “Vacay,” featuring South African artist Kamo Mphela, released in November 2023.
