Sunny Anderson

Sunny Anderson is a self-taught culinary expert, television host, and best-selling author recognized for her work on Food Network. After graduating high school, Anderson joined the United States Air Force, where she earned the rank of senior airman and worked as a military radio host in Seoul, South Korea. Following her service, she pursued a career in radio, including a position at New York's Hot 97 station, which led to her introduction to Food Network.

Anderson began her television career as a guest on "Emeril Live" before hosting her first show, "Gotta Get It," a food gadget program. She has since hosted several Food Network shows, including "Cooking for Real," "How'd That Get on My Plate?," "The Kitchen," and "BBQ Brawl." Anderson became a co-host on "The Kitchen" alongside Jeff Mauro, Katie Lee, Marcela Valladolid, and Geoffrey Zakarian. She was a contender for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show/Informative with the cast of "The Kitchen."

Anderson has appeared in various roles on Food Network, serving as host of "Cooking for Real," "Spring Baking Championship: Easter," "How'd That Get on My Plate?," and "Home Made in America." She has also judged "Chopped Military Salute" and mentored teams on "BBQ Brawl."
