Three-time All-Pro receiver Steve Smith Sr. joined NFL Network as an analyst following a 16-season career in the National Football League. Smith appears on several NFL Network programs, including "NFL GameDay First" during the NFL season.
During his NFL career, Smith earned five Pro Bowl selections and recorded 14,731 receiving yards with the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, ranking seventh all time. He achieved the "Triple Crown" with the Panthers by leading the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns in a single season. Smith also received the Comeback Player of the Year Award after returning from a severe leg injury.
Smith was drafted from the University of Utah in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, where he played for 13 seasons. He led the Panthers to Super Bowl XXXVIII and holds the franchise record with 12,197 receiving yards.
Smith has participated in various charitable initiatives, including the Steve Smith Family Foundation, House of Ruth Maryland, and Athletes United for Youth. He was nominated for the NFL Man of the Year Award with the Ravens.
