Stephen Miller

Stephen Miller is an American political advisor known for his roles in multiple presidential administrations, including serving as deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security advisor in President Donald Trump's second term. Miller began his career in public service after graduating from Duke University, where he was active in conservative politics and campus journalism. He worked in Washington, D.C., as a press secretary and communications director for several Republican members of Congress, including Michele Bachmann, John Shadegg, and Jeff Sessions. His partnership with Sessions contributed to shaping national debates on immigration and set the stage for Miller's later work in the Trump administration.

Miller joined Donald Trump's presidential campaign as a senior policy advisor and chief speechwriter, authoring several of Trump's major addresses, including the inaugural speech. As a senior advisor in the White House, Miller played a central role in developing the administration's immigration policies, such as the travel ban affecting several Muslim-majority countries and the family separation policy at the U.S.-Mexico border.
