Her passion is to assist first responders in maintaining their health while performing their duties. Specializing in counseling first responders, she is affiliated with police and fire agencies, offering debriefings, resilience training, and guidance for peer support team development and training. This training and guidance are based on over 26 years of experience in the first responder profession and a lifetime of being the daughter and then wife of police officers. Her training topics include trauma, stress, and resilience factors affecting first responders and their families. She also provides training to clinicians on how to be culturally competent in working with first responders. Stephanie's dedication to this field comes from her deep connection to and love for her first responder family.
