Sherri Shepherd

Sherri Shepherd is an Emmy Award-winning actress, comedian, author, and television personality known for her work in American entertainment. Shepherd began her stand-up comedy career while working as a legal secretary, eventually transitioning into television acting. She gained recognition for her roles on "The Jamie Foxx Show," "Suddenly Susan," and "Everybody Loves Raymond." Shepherd starred as Ramona Platt in the sitcom "Less Than Perfect."

Shepherd served as a co-host of the daytime talk show "The View," earning multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations and one win. During her tenure, Time included her and her co-hosts in its "100 Most Influential People in the World" list, and Forbes ranked "The View" hosts among the "30 Most Influential Women in Media."
