Scarlin Hernandez is an award-winning rocket scientist, soul engineer, and global speaker. A trailblazer in STEM, Hernandez began her career as a junior engineer during college and quickly rose to prominence, leading high-profile missions, including NASA’s groundbreaking James Webb Space Telescope—the largest and most powerful telescope in history. She and her team were awarded a letter by the U.S. president for forever changing how we see and understand the universe. Her pivotal role in this mission was spotlighted in Netflix’s acclaimed documentary "UNKNOWN: Cosmic Time Machine."

Hernandez’s academic excellence earned her a full scholarship from the National Science Foundation to Capitol Technology University, where she began her NASA journey. By age 20, she was already sending commands to satellites in space, proving that resilience and limitless thinking can transform the impossible into reality. She has also contributed to NASA’s Nancy Roman Space Telescope, which will explore dark matter, dark energy, black holes, and the universe’s accelerating expansion.
