Sarah Ward

Sarah Ward is an internationally recognized speech-language pathologist and expert in executive function, with more than 30 years of experience evaluating and treating individuals with developmental and acquired brain-based learning differences. As co-director of Cognitive Connections LLP, she specializes in diagnostic evaluations, intervention, and professional development focused on executive functioning, attention, self-regulation, and cognitive strategy instruction. A licensed speech-language pathologist in Massachusetts, Ward holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Widely regarded as a pioneer in executive function intervention, Ward is the co-creator of the evidence-based 360 Thinking Executive Function Program, which equips students, educators, clinicians, and families with practical strategies to improve planning, organization, time management, working memory, and self-monitoring. The program has been implemented in schools and clinical settings around the world and received CHADD's Innovative Promising Practices Award for its impact on supporting individuals with ADHD and executive function challenges.

Ward serves as adjunct faculty at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, where she has helped train generations of clinicians. An in-demand keynote speaker and consultant, she has presented thousands of workshops and consulted with more than 2,000 public and private schools, universities, hospitals, and organizations internationally. Her engaging, practical approach has made her one of the field's most sought-after educators on executive function and cognitive strategy development.

Her contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including multiple ASHA ACE Awards for continuing education, the Bette Ann Harris Distinguished Professional Award, and the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions' Faculty Excellence Award.
