Sarah Harden

Sarah Harden is a prominent media executive and the former CEO of Hello Sunshine, the entertainment company founded by Reese Witherspoon. Known for her strategic leadership and commitment to female-driven storytelling, Harden has played a central role in building Hello Sunshine into a major force across film, television, publishing, and digital media.

Harden joined Hello Sunshine in its early stages and became CEO in 2018, helping to scale the company’s ambitions and operations. Under her leadership, the company has produced a slate of high-profile, female-led projects, including "Big Little Lies," "The Morning Show," and "Where the Crawdads Sing." She has been instrumental in expanding the company’s reach beyond traditional entertainment into book clubs, podcasts, and branded content, all rooted in the mission of amplifying women’s voices.

Previously, Harden held senior roles across the media and entertainment landscape. She served as president of Otter Media, a joint venture between WarnerMedia and AT&T, where she oversaw digital-first brands and streaming initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at companies including Fox and New Line Cinema, building expertise in both creative development and business strategy.

In 2021, Harden helped lead the sale of Hello Sunshine to Candle Media, a deal that significantly expanded the company’s resources and global footprint. She has since left the company and currently serves Hello Sunshine as an advisor.
