Sarah Cortez

Sarah Cortez is a sales professional, keynote speaker, and sales trainer recognized for her work in sales strategy, professional development, and goal achievement. Having moved 34 times before reaching fifth grade, Cortez developed adaptability and resilience that have influenced her approach to both personal and professional challenges. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and management, she founded her training company, Sarah Cortez Speaks, to provide sales training and leadership development for individuals and organizations.

Cortez is a frequent speaker at national conferences, sales kick-offs, and company retreats across the United States. Her keynote presentation, "When Horses Fly," introduces a three-step process for accomplishing significant goals, combining principles of human connection with actionable sales strategies. Cortez gained recognition on the speaking circuit at the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives National Conference on Sponsorships and Strategic Sales, where she identified a gap in sales training for the association industry and developed a prospecting program to address it. Her presentations have been featured by organizations such as the Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley and Go Lead Idaho Fall Training series.

Outside of her professional work, Cortez is a pilot and is working toward her instrument rating, nearing the 250-hour flight milestone required for a commercial pilot's license.
