Ruby Boghal

Ruby Boghal first appeared on our screens in 2018 as a contestant on Channel 4’s hugely popular series "The Great British Bake Off." Having only been baking for a year before appearing on the show, Boghal made it to the final and took the show by storm with her natural talent for baking and cooking as well as her wit, humor and style.

Boghal has since gone on to appear on ITV’s "This Morning" as well as being part of the flagship team of chefs on Channel 4’s hit daytime show "Steph’s Packed Lunch." Alongside her growing broadcasting career, she has amassed a strong social media following and regularly works with high-profile brands, developing bespoke recipes and creating content. These include HexClad, Nespresso, Sainsburys, Thermomix, Waitrose, TUI and Dr. Oteker to name but a few. In 2023, Boghal launched her social series "Around the World in 80 Cakes" where she baked the top-rated cakes in the world. The series has proven to be a huge viral success and has to date been viewed over 80 million times across her platforms.

Boghal regularly hosts and leads live demos at events such as The Big Feastival, BBC Good Food, Pub in the Park and Soho House. In 2022, she hosted her first ever chef residency at the AllBright members club in Mayfair.

Boghal has written food columns and recipes for the likes of GQ online, The Times, Tastemade, The Observer and Waitrose Magazine. In 2023, she launched her hugely popular weekly newsletter "The Last Bite" and her debut cookbook, "One Bake Two Ways," was published by Pavilion on 2024.

Boghal’s recipe flair and technique pay homage to her Indian roots while adding a twist of modern British cuisine. She is passionate about flavors and recipes from her heritage and around the world and loves how something as simple as food can bring cultures and communities together.
