Rosie Hunter, PhD

Dr. Rosie Hunter is a psychologist, Army veteran, and entrepreneur whose career spans behavioral science, military service, and executive leadership. With more than 15 years of expertise in anxiety and performance under pressure, Hunter is recognized for her work on resilience, courage, and high-stakes execution. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Emory University and a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from Florida State University. Hunter was named to Emory's 40 Under Forty alumni list, reflecting the breadth of her career.

A Presidential Leadership Scholar and Bronze Star Medal recipient, Hunter served on active duty for six years, including a deployment to Afghanistan as a psychologist and leadership advisor with the 101st Airborne Division, Combat Aviation Brigade. Her military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, NATO Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. During her deployment, she pioneered the use of telehealth to reach service members in remote locations, shaping her approach to mental health care. Hunter also served as an aeromedical psychologist in the United States Army, bringing an operationally tested perspective to her clinical and consulting work.

Hunter began her career as a White House intern and later served as an active-duty Army psychologist before transitioning to business psychology consulting and private practice therapy. Her consulting experience includes executive assessment, selection, and leadership coaching, with work for leaders at Fortune 100 companies such as Lockheed Martin and Texas Instruments, as well as foundations, family offices, and startups in private equity, asset and investment management, healthcare, and technology. Hunter is an alumnus of the Presidential Leadership Scholars program, which brings together leaders committed to addressing critical challenges.

Hunter is the founder of Test Wolf, an education technology startup offering on-demand, evidence-based strategies to reduce test anxiety. Test Wolf coaches students preparing for high-stakes exams such as the SAT, MCAT, LSAT, and USMLE/COMLEX. In her consulting practice, Wolf & Hunter, she works with executives and organizations to enhance clarity, influence, and execution. Hunter also serves as a clinical psychologist and workshop specialist at O2X Human Performance, focusing on resilience, operational stress, and optimizing performance under pressure for tactical athletes, leaders, and teams.
