Rory T. Edwards

Dr. Rory T. Edwards is a holistic human development strategist, educator, author, and speaker whose work focuses on leadership, youth development, and cognitive-behavioral wellness. He is the founder of the Rory T. Edwards Group, where he develops programs and initiatives designed to support athletes, families, schools, and communities through a whole-person approach to performance and personal growth.

With a background spanning athletics, education, and social advocacy, Dr. Edwards has dedicated more than three decades to helping individuals achieve balance across physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions. His work emphasizes mental resilience, identity development, and life skills as foundational elements of success, particularly for young people navigating high-pressure environments.

Dr. Edwards has worked extensively with K–12 schools, collegiate programs, and community organizations, and previously served as President of the New Britain NAACP for over a decade. In that role, he led youth mentorship initiatives, policy advocacy efforts, and represented Connecticut in national leadership forums focused on equity and opportunity.

An author and public speaker, he is known for his book "The Man That’s Missing in Me" and his ongoing “House Calls” series, where he explores topics including leadership, mental health, education, and cultural development. Through his programs, writing, and speaking engagements, Dr. Edwards continues to focus on empowering individuals and communities to build purpose-driven, resilient lives.
