Ray Kurzweil

Ray Kurzweil is an inventor, computer scientist, and futurist known for significant contributions to artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. Kurzweil led the development of the first omni-font optical character recognition system, the CCD flat-bed scanner, and a print-to-speech reading machine for the blind, expanding access to printed text for visually impaired individuals.
