Randye Kaye

Randye Kaye is an American voice-over artist, radio host, actress, singer, author, and public speaker based in Connecticut. Kaye has worked across the voice-over, broadcasting, theater, and publishing industries. She has served as a radio personality and host on NPR affiliates WSHU-FM/AM and was previously on air with STAR 99.9 FM. Kaye is the afternoon news anchor and local host of "All Things Considered" for WSHU in Connecticut.

As a voice talent, Kaye has voiced numerous commercials and narrations for brands including Burger King, Toshiba, Kohl's, Hilton, Priceline.com, Estee Lauder, Dove, Continental Airlines, Verizon, ESPN, and Newborn Channel. She is the audiobook narrator of more than 170 titles, including her own books, "Ben Behind His Voices" and "Happier Made Simple." Kaye has also narrated dozens of children's books for authors such as Gail Gibbons, David A. Adler, Jan Brett, and Sarah Stewart. Her theatrical experience includes performing in theater and improv in New York City and Los Angeles, including sharing the stage with Ann Miller.

Kaye is recognized as an author and mental health advocate. Her memoir, "Ben Behind His Voices: One Family's Journey from the Chaos of Schizophrenia to Hope," published by Rowman and Littlefield, was nominated for a Listen Up Award by Publishers Weekly in the "Read by Author" category. The memoir details her family's experience with schizophrenia and aims to provide resources and reduce stigma for other families. Her second book, "Happier Made Simple: Choose Your Words. Change Your Life," achieved international bestseller status on Amazon. Kaye wrote the book in response to readers seeking advice on maintaining positivity.

In addition to her writing, Kaye is a keynote speaker and mental health advocate, addressing groups of medical professionals, families, providers, and legislators about the family experience with mental illness. She is a Family-to-Family teacher and trainer for the National Alliance on Mental Illness and a former diversity trainer with the Anti-Defamation League. Kaye also hosts the podcast "Schizophrenia: 3 Moms in the Trenches." Her solo show, "Cracks and All: A Perfectly Imperfect Life," has been performed to positive reviews.

Kaye addresses topics such as mental wellness, emotional intelligence, communication, and happiness as a keynote speaker and trainer. She is a master facilitator with companies such as Communico and leads sessions on customer service, emotional intelligence, presentation skills, and communication.
