Ramesh Ponnuru

Ramesh Ponnuru is an American conservative journalist and political commentator known for his analysis of public policy, law, and American politics. Ponnuru serves as the editor of National Review magazine, a contributing columnist for The Washington Post, and a contributing editor to the domestic policy journal National Affairs. He is also a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Ponnuru graduated from Princeton University with a degree in history and began his career as a reporter at National Review after interning there.

Since joining National Review, Ponnuru has written extensively about politics, public policy, economics, law, and religion. He is often associated with the reform conservative movement and has focused on applying conservative principles to address challenges facing American families and institutions.
