Prady Modukuru is the co-founder and CEO of sync., a San Francisco-based artificial intelligence company focused on transforming how video content is localized and experienced worldwide. With a background in computer engineering and additional studies in artificial intelligence, Modukuru has led product vision, managed teams, and developed solutions across multiple industries. Prior to founding sync., Modukuru contributed to the incubation, launch, and scaling of AI-powered cybersecurity products at Microsoft, impacting more than 500 million consumers and $1 trillion in publicly traded companies, and became the youngest product leader in his organization.

Modukuru also serves as founder and CEO of sūnya collective and previously founded Oneself. At sync.—formally known as Synchronicity Labs Inc.—he leads a team of artists, engineers, and researchers developing controllable AI video editing tools. The company’s research team creates AI video models capable of making fine-grained, controllable edits to any human in any video, while the product team ensures these models are accessible to editors, animators, developers, and businesses.

Sync. builds generative models to modify and synthesize humans in video, offering production APIs that integrate with apps, platforms, and services. The company specializes in visual dubbing, enabling users to lip-sync video to audio in any language in near real time, allowing global audiences to experience content in their native language.
