Peter Marsh

Peter Marsh is a journalist and lecturer specializing in modern manufacturing, technology, and economics. Marsh's career includes work as a journalist at Financial Times, where he served as manufacturing editor and covered topics related to industrial innovation and global economic trends. He began his journalism career at Luton Evening Post and later worked as a reporter and editor at New Scientist before joining Financial Times. Marsh received recognition in the Business Journalist of the Year Awards as the winner in the manufacturing category.

Marsh is the author of "The New Industrial Revolution: Consumers, Globalization and the End of Mass Production," published by Yale University Press. The book examines significant changes in manufacturing, such as technological advancements, the shift toward customized production, increased participation of countries in global manufacturing, and the importance of sustainable production methods. Marsh analyzes the impact of emerging manufacturing centers in China and India and discusses how established economies like the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan can adapt to remain competitive.
