Paul Williams

Paul Williams, a composer, singer, songwriter, and actor, established a noteworthy career throughout the 1970s. His songwriting prowess led to the creation of popular songs such as "An Old Fashioned Love Song" and "Rainy Days and Mondays." Williams' talent was recognised with an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy for Song of the Year, both for the song "Evergreen" from "A Star Is Born." In addition to his songwriting career, Williams made his mark in acting with roles in films such as "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Phantom of the Paradise."

Since 2009, Williams has served as the president and chairman of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), further expanding his influence in the music industry.
