Patricia Stark

Patricia Stark is a communication expert, keynote speaker, and the creator of the Calmfidence brand. Stark is a talent development executive with more than 20 years of experience coaching media professionals, executives, and public figures. She works with NFL coaches, Fortune 500 executives, and media professionals to help them communicate with clarity, confidence, and composure under pressure.

As president of Patricia Stark Communications and Calmfidence Workshops, Stark provides coaching and training in public speaking, media training, virtual presentation skills, talent development, body language, emotional intelligence, stress and anxiety relief, and peak performance. Her expertise is informed by her own on-camera and broadcasting career, including roles as a health and wellness anchor, television host, national and international news anchor, and WABC Radio host. Stark has appeared on "Law & Order Criminal Intent" in a recurring role as reporter Dawn Condor and has served as a spokesperson in commercials for major brands.

Stark has been featured nationally on Inside Edition, The History Channel, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and PBS. She has served as a talent judge on 26 episodes of the Emmy-nominated performing talent show "New York Star of the Day" and as host and writer of the Calmfidence for Teens segments on the Emmy Award-winning remake of "Wonderama." Stark works with celebrities, corporate executives, authors, news anchors, and social media influencers whose careers depend on effective communication.

Drawing from her personal journey overcoming communication challenges, Stark developed the concept of "Calmfidence" through years of practice and incremental insights. This experience became the foundation for her bestselling book, "Calmfidence: How to Trust Yourself, Tame Your Inner Critic, and Shine in Any Spotlight," a science-based guide to building self-assurance in high-stakes situations. The book and its companion workshops, which cover topics such as Everyday Calmfidence, Resilient Calmfidence, Communication Calmfidence, and Natural Calmfidence, have been presented at Fordham University and other universities, corporations, and women's leadership conferences.

Stark holds certificates in eclectic cognitive behavior therapy, visualization and guided imagery, coaching and positive psychology, and is a certified breath instructor for stress and anxiety management and peak performance. She is also a certified body language trainer and a member of the National Speakers Association and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Stark has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal's "Secrets of Wealthy Women" podcast, iHeartRadio's "What Women Want" podcast, CBS News' Small Business Spotlight, and was a regular guest expert on Fox 5's 6 p.m. News. She volunteers as a communications advisor for Dress for Success NJ Women's Leadership Summit, the Diabetes Association, the United Way, and Clementine Briarcliff Manor, a residential treatment center for adolescent girls managing eating disorders and exercise addiction.
