Pamela Malkoff

Pamela Malkoff, MFT, LPC, ATR-BC, is a nationally recognized speaker, licensed psychotherapist, board-certified art therapist, author and retreat leader with more than 30 years of experience in psychology, mental health and creative practice. Her areas of expertise include burnout and resilience, perfectionism and the inner critic, creativity and innovation, anxiety, mental health and well-being, grief and loss, addiction and recovery and personal growth. Malkoff is the creator of the Creative Cognitive Therapy Method and the A.R.T.T. Framework, Awareness, Reframe, Transform, Thrive, which combines psychotherapy, art therapy and neuroscience-informed creative practices to help people interrupt overthinking, develop healthier thinking patterns and improve confidence, decision-making and resilience.

For more than two decades, Malkoff has spoken at conferences, universities, healthcare organizations and leadership events nationwide. Her clients and audiences have included NAMI, WestCare, Terracon, California State University Northridge, Daytona State College, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Clubhouse International and the National Alliance for Grieving Children. She has spoken at several U.S. military bases, including Schofield Army Base in Oahu, Hawaii.

Malkoff has been a national speaker for PESI Education Seminars since 2005 and has headlined sold-out retreats at Esalen Institute, Omega Institute and Cal-a-Vie. She is the author of the book "The Creative Cognitive Therapy Method" and "Combining the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and Art Therapy" along with numerous articles and educational resources. She holds BFAs from Parsons School of Design and the Otis Institute of Art and an MFT from Notre Dame de Namur.
