Otis McGregor

Otis McGregor is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces lieutenant colonel, leadership coach, author, and TEDx speaker with a career spanning more than four decades in leadership development, team building, and executive coaching. McGregor served in the U.S. Army and Special Forces for 25 years, advancing from private to lieutenant colonel. During his military service, he gained experience in roles ranging from operating tanks to engineering in arctic conditions and leading Green Berets on complex missions worldwide. He contributed to the formation of new organizations, including counter-terrorism units in Iraq and Afghanistan and NATO Special Operations Headquarters, focusing on building cohesive and effective teams.

Following his military retirement, McGregor supported both large and small businesses in organizational development and led multi-million-dollar government programs. He founded LTO Enterprises, later rebranded as Tribe + Purpose, where he serves as CEO and founder. At Tribe + Purpose, McGregor specializes in leadership coaching, business growth strategies, and organizational culture transformation, assisting small businesses in achieving sustainable growth and high performance.

McGregor is the author of "Enable Your Team's Success: Succeed In Life and Business With A Strong Team," which outlines foundational leadership principles and team-building strategies based on his extensive experience in military, commercial, and coaching environments. His Green Beret Leadership Program provides industry-agnostic tools and principles for effective leadership and team management.

In addition to his work as an author and coach, McGregor is a podcast host and keynote speaker, addressing topics such as business leadership, teamwork, personal growth, mindset, mental health, ethics, and integrity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering technology from Texas A&M University, a Master of Arts in international affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, and certifications as a professional coach and project director. McGregor is recognized for his expertise in leadership development, organizational culture, and team performance, contributing to the advancement of effective leadership and purposeful organizations.
