Obi Obadike

Obi Obadike is an award-winning TV host and health and wellness writer who has authored hundreds of articles for major fitness and health magazines and fitness/health websites. He co-authored the diet and exercise book "The Cut" with Morris Chestnut. His work has trained various celebrities, including Steve Harvey, Stephen A. Smith, and Morris Chestnut. The book was recognized as a #1 best-seller in the diet and exercise category on Amazon and held an overall best-seller ranking of #12 in all books in all genres on Amazon. In 2021, he founded Ethical Inc., a new natural health and wellness supplement company, where he serves as CEO.

Obadike regularly appears as a fitness expert on various platforms. He has been featured as a Health & Wellness expert guest on national daytime talk shows such as "Wendy Williams," "Steve Harvey," "Dr. Oz," "Rachael Ray," "Access Hollywood," "Home & Family," "Today" and more. In addition, he was a regular fitness expert on NBC’s "Today" show Summer Shape Up series and a regular health and wellness correspondent for Steve Harvey's nationally syndicated morning radio show.

Obadike has exerted his influence not only on screen but also behind the scenes. He served on the certification board for the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and was recognized with the Famous Alumni DEAC award for his contributions to the fitness industry. He was also a co-host and co-judge on the fitness reality competition show "Sweat Inc.," which premiered on Spike TV in the fall of 2015, alongside Jillian Michaels and Randy Hetrick.

Recognized for his influence in the fitness and health industry, Obadike was named the sixth most influential fitness expert on the web by Dr. Oz’s Sharecare.com in 2014. In 2015, Onalytica recognized him as the #1 influencer in fitness and health. His expert contributions to fitness and health extend to various platforms, such as Muscle and Fitness, Bodybuilding.com, AskMen.com, Sharecare.com, LiveStrong, Shape, Oxygen, WebMD, CNN, and Turner Broadcasting Network. He has graced more than 65 fitness magazine covers and has been published more than 100 times in fitness and health magazines, making him one of the most published health and wellness experts over the last 20 years.

Obadike co-hosted a national syndicated health TV show from 2014 to 2021 for seven seasons called "Lifestyle Magazine" that aired on national faith-based networks, for which he won three Telly Awards for his role as host.

Obadike holds BA/BS and MS degrees and is a certified nutritionist specialist and certified trainer with ISSA. His work was recognized in January 2023 when he was inducted into the Marquis "Who is Who in America" 2023 edition.

He has been a conservator to his little brother, who is mentally institutionalized, since 2007, and is a vocal advocate for mental health as a writer and blogger.
