Nadav Guedj

Nadav Guedj is an Israeli singer and actor known for his pop music, which blends European, Mediterranean, and R&B influences. Guedj gained national recognition as the winner of season two of HaKokhav HaBa, Israel's version of Rising Star. As the youngest participant in the competition's second season, he advanced with a performance of Beyoncé's "Halo," earning the opportunity to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest.

At Eurovision in Vienna, Guedj performed the upbeat track "Golden Boy," becoming the youngest performer in the contest and finishing ninth. "Golden Boy" marked the first Israeli Eurovision entry with lyrics entirely in English and secured Israel's first qualification to the final in several years. The song's live performance ranked among the most-watched videos on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube Channel.

Following Eurovision, Guedj developed his recording career with singles such as "Good Vibes," which reached the top of the Israeli Media Forest chart, and his self-titled debut studio album. He later released "Ulay Nedaber," his first song in Hebrew, reflecting a creative shift toward his cultural roots.

Guedj has also established himself as an actor, debuting in the third season of the Israeli youth fantasy drama series "Kadabra" on Nickelodeon Israel and Teen Nick on Yes. In the series, he played Adi Gaon, a famous singer and cousin to the character Yiftach. Guedj contributed the single "38 Ma'alot" as the theme song for the Israeli movie "Full Gas," in which he also appeared. His acting credits include a role in the Israeli TV series "HaYoreshet" on Channel 12.

Guedj has publicly discussed his diagnosis with bipolar disorder, sharing his experiences with psychoses, involuntary hospitalizations, and a hiatus from public life. He returned to music with the single "Meshuga," co-written with Nadav "Navi" Aharoni and Kfir Tsafrir, addressing themes of personal growth and resilience. Guedj's openness about mental health and his evolving artistry continue to resonate with audiences in Israel and internationally.
