Mory Fontanez is the Founder and CEO of 822 Group. As an experienced strategist, counselor and executive purpose coach, Mory works with companies to create powerful change in leadership mindset, business strategy and operations, culture and customer relationships.

After noticing a widespread sense of frustration and lack of passion among colleagues and clients in the corporate world, Mory founded the 822 Group as a transformation consultancy. At 822, Mory works with clients to create internal alignment and re-connect brands and their leaders to purpose. Through a tailored approach, she gets to the root of systemic issues, builds visionary leaders, inspires the workforce, and creates purpose-driven leaders and brands that connect with their employees and customers.

Before launching her own consultancy, Mory served as Managing Director of Global Client Strategy at Edelman where she counseled global brands on achieving their reputational, cultural and marketing objectives in an integrated fashion. Holding deep expertise in reputation, change and crisis management, and integrated brand positioning, Mory has provided strategic counsel to clients throughout the fashion, media, financial, technology, energy and retail sectors. She has implemented brand protection strategies and culture change programs as well as spearheaded alignment among corporate leadership teams for such Fortune 500 companies as: Hewlett Packard, Mars, Inc, Royal Dutch Shell, AstraZeneca, J.P. Morgan Chase; and GE, to name a few.
