Morag Barrett

Morag Barrett is a leadership development expert, executive coach, and keynote speaker whose work emphasizes the importance of professional relationships in driving business success. As the founder and CEO of SkyeTeam, an international leadership development firm, Barrett has supported more than 20,000 leaders across 20 countries.

With a background in banking and classical music, Barrett combines business expertise with a focus on building strong professional relationships. Her experience includes roles in retail banking with Royal Bank of Scotland Group in the UK and 15 years in the finance industry, providing her with a deep understanding of business operations and leadership challenges. Prior to founding SkyeTeam, Barrett held leadership positions at Level 3 Communications and NatWest Bank, advising international organizations on corporate strategy and growth. She later joined a U.S.-based telecommunications company, which led to international assignments across Europe and Asia Pacific, and eventually relocated to Colorado to join the company's global headquarters before launching SkyeTeam.

Barrett is a keynote speaker, executive coach, and author of three books: "Cultivate: The Power of Winning Relationships," "The Future-Proof Workplace," and "You, Me, We: Why We All Need a Friend at Work (and How to Show Up as One!)." Her book "The Future-Proof Workplace," co-authored with Dr. Linda Sharkey, was named Best Business Book by Soundview Executive Book Summaries. "You, Me, We: Why We All Need a Friend at Work (and How to Show Up as One!)" has received multiple book awards. Barrett's publications focus on the belief that business success is powered by relationships and that connection fuels success in life.
