Montell Jordan

Montell Jordan, a widely recognized R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, is celebrated for his 1995 single "This Is How We Do It". He held the influential position of the primary male solo artist on Def Jam's Def Soul imprint until his departure in 2003. Further extending his musical influence, Jordan has created songs for other artists, including Christina Milian, 98 Degrees, and Sisqó. His other popular singles include "Get It On Tonite" and "Let's Ride," which featured Master P and Silkk the Shocker.

In addition to his success in the music industry, Jordan has demonstrated a strong presence in the film industry. He appeared in the film "The Fighting Temptations" and made a cameo in "The Nutty Professor". His musical talent was also showcased during the Miss Universe 2000 evening gown competition, where he performed "Careless Whisper" with Dave Koz. Jordan's diverse experience extends to reality television as well, having competed in season eight of "The Masked Singer" as "Panther" in 2022 and appeared on "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" in 2023.

Transitioning from his entertainment career, Jordan became the worship leader at Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia in 2010, later co-founding Master Peace Church, a fully virtual ministry, with his wife Kristin. His ministry focus extends to preserving marriages and providing spiritual guidance through Marriage Masterpeace and the Retreat Center. His sermon titled "Music Is Power" and various interviews indicate a solid history of public speaking, suggesting an ability to engage audiences not only through song but also through spoken word.
