Mohammad Rasoulof

Mohammad Rasoulof, an internationally recognized Iranian independent filmmaker, has established a formidable reputation in his craft through numerous accolades and awards. Notably, Rasoulof received the Golden Bear at the 2020 Berlin Film Festival for "There Is No Evil." This followed a series of other awards at the Cannes Film Festival for his films "Goodbye," "Manuscripts Don't Burn," and "A Man of Integrity." This recognition culminated in an invitation to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2017.

Rasoulof continued to build on his success with his Oscar-nominated film "The Seed of the Sacred Fig," which was selected for the main competition at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and also honored with the Best Screenplay at the Asian Film Awards in 2025.
