Michael P. Nash Biography
Michael P. Nash is an award-winning filmmaker and artist who made history in 2024 as the first filmmaker to place a film on the lunar surface, where it now resides in a lunar time capsule alongside the works of Beethoven and Picasso.
As the founder of Beverly Hills Productions, Mr. Nash has produced critically acclaimed films and spearheaded global art initiatives. In 2010, he was recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the "Top 10 Movie Makers of the Planet." He is also a Sundance alumnus and a prominent speaker on using art and story to drive social change.
Nash has directed the films "Climate Refugees," "Fuel," "Nebraska," "Playground of the Native Son," "Saving the Roar," and "Captain Counter Culture," for which he has won several domestic and international awards. He is currently in production on a film titled "Chasing Truth," executive produced by Leonardo and George DiCaprio.
Nash serves on a United Nations advisory panel focused on global “content for change” and is a prominent keynote speaker on topics such as climate stress, food security, and migration. Through Beverly Hills Productions, he bridges Hollywood and the United Nations, creating impactful content to drive policy change among global leaders.
