From life experiences that have taken her from burnout to rediscovering and reconnecting to her joy, TEDx speaker Dr. Meena Julapalli considers it a great blessing and privilege to share what she has learned with audiences all over the U.S. and beyond. She has had the honor of traveling from coast to coast and internationally to speak to students, teachers, parents, health care professionals and nonprofits and corporations, and her expertise has been featured in numerous podcasts, articles, interviews, and documentaries.
Dr. Julapalli is a pediatric dermatologist in Houston, TX, and a joyologist in the school of life — one whose calling is to help people discover, cultivate, and share the joy of their unique gifts. She is the founder of The Joyful Path, whose mission is to guide people -- especially children -- to build the intuition of how to nourish their mind, body, and soul so that they may live, love, and serve generously with an open heart, intention, and purpose.
Dr. Julapalli is the author of two award-winning, bestselling children’s books about joy: "Listen To The Song In My Heart" and "Bluebird, Oh Bluebird, What Makes Your Heart Sing." She is also a mindset coach for kids, Reiki master, world explorer (she has been to all seven continents, all 50 states), avid hiker, meditator, sound healer/instrumentalist, and amateur swing dancer.
