Matt Parker is an award-winning stand-up comedian, a YouTuber with over 100 million views, and a New York Times bestselling author. Oh, and he knows a lot about maths.

Parker has worked across television, radio, and print, including with BBC Radio 4, Discovery, and The Guardian, where he is regularly invited to explain technical topics in clear and relatable ways.

A former maths teacher turned stand-up and communicator, Parker brings energy, clarity, and precision to every stage. He studied mathematics at the University of Western Australia before moving to the UK, where he became a public engagement fellow at Queen Mary University of London. It is currently orbiting harmlessly between Mars and Jupiter. Whether it will one day destroy all life on Earth remains to be seen.
