Matt Muenster

Matt Muenster is a licensed contractor, interior designer, and television personality recognized for his work in home renovation and bathroom remodeling. Muenster earned a degree in interior design from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and practiced professionally for nearly a decade before transitioning to television. Early in his career, Muenster contributed to a large project in Angola and served as a designer and project manager at Ramsey Engler Ltd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His experience spans both commercial and residential design projects.

A local producer seeking a designer to host a renovation show introduced Muenster to television. He hosted 33 episodes of "BATHtastic!" and served as a contractor on the show. Muenster later became the host of "Bath Crashers" on DIY Network, where he and his crew surprised homeowners and completed full bathroom renovations. He also hosted the TV special "Ultimate Crash: House, Bath, Kitchen and Yard."

Muenster's television portfolio includes more than 240 episodes across "Bath Crashers," "BATHtastic!," "Ellen's Design Challenge," "HGTV Dream Home 2015," and "Blog Cabin." He has appeared as a design expert on "Hotel Impossible," "DIY Insider," and "Ellen's Design Challenge."
