Mario Alonso Puig

Dr. Mario Alonso Puig is recognized for his expertise at the intersection of medicine, neuroscience, and leadership. He practiced general surgery and gastroenterology for more than 25 years, developing a comprehensive understanding of human resilience and potential in demanding environments. Alonso Puig is a fellow at Harvard Medical School, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He completed a master's in hospital management at Instituto de Estudios Superiores de La Empresa (IESE), holds a degree in medical sophrology from International College Spain, and received the Award of Merit in Communication and Human Relations from the Dale Carnegie Institute.
