Louise Laing

Louise Laing is an entrepreneur and innovator working at the intersection of fashion, technology, and sustainability. With more than 25 years of experience in the fashion sector, Laing has contributed to digital innovation and operational efficiency. Her corporate career includes senior leadership roles at Burberry and Reiss, where she delivered significant efficiencies across sourcing, development, and supply chain management.

Laing has optimized supply chains for brands such as Burberry, Reiss, and Kilgour, and has guided more than 20 start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises through her consultancy work. She also served as CEO of Shrimps, a London fashion brand, where she expanded revenue and achieved positive EBITDA within three years.

Laing is the founder of PhygitalTwin, a technology-driven sustainable marketplace that transforms digital garments into physical fashion on demand. She launched PhygitalTwin as an AI SaaS platform that converts a single 3D design into two monetizable outputs: a rigged, game-ready skin and a print-ready file for physical merchandise. The platform aims to democratize the fashion industry by lowering barriers to entry and enabling creators to produce collections sustainably and affordably. PhygitalTwin has demonstrated impact through collaborations, including a limited collection with Roblox creator WhoseTrade, which sold out rapidly and highlighted the benefits of agile manufacturing and waste reduction.

In addition to her business ventures, Laing founded Recode the Curriculum, a foundation dedicated to empowering girls to view technology as a creative and entrepreneurial path.
