Logan Green, known for his leadership role in the ride-hailing industry, co-founded Lyft in 2007. The venture, which originated from a previous company named Zimride, has since become a household name in the United States and Canada. By October 2017, Lyft had established its presence across all American states and Toronto, signaling a significant milestone under Green's stewardship. As per July 2017 data, the company was providing over a million rides daily, signifying its widespread adoption and operational success.

Green's commitment to the growth of Lyft was evident in his decision to forego a salary for the company's initial three years. During these formative years, he operated from an "apartfice," underscoring his dedication to the business. Under Green's guidance, Lyft attracted substantial investment from major players like Alphabet's CapitalG, eventually reaching a valuation of $11 billion.
