LisaRaye McCoy

LisaRaye McCoy is an actress, television personality, and entrepreneur who has built a career across film, television, and philanthropy. She began her television career with appearances in “The Parent 'Hood” and “In the House” before earning widespread recognition in 2003 for her starring role as Neesee James on “All of Us.” The comedy series, inspired by the domestic experiences of Will and Jada Smith, explored modern family relationships and co-parenting dynamics. McCoy portrayed Neesee James through the show’s 2007 finale.

She later starred as Keisha Greene in “Single Ladies” from 2011 to 2015, further expanding her presence in television comedy and drama. McCoy has also appeared in music videos for artists including Lil' Kim, Ginuwine, and Jamie Foxx.

Outside of acting, McCoy gained international attention after her 2006 marriage to Michael Misick, then Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a marriage that ended in 2010. During this period, she launched fashion lines including Luxe & Romance and Xraye and promoted tourism and cultural development on the islands through lifestyle and entertainment initiatives such as the Turks and Caicos Film Festival and the LRaye Cinema.

McCoy remains active in philanthropy as Global Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, advocating early detection and women’s health awareness. She also founded the Miss Rayediant Jewels teen pageant and the “Life Rocks” Vision Board Workshops to mentor young women and support self-esteem development.

She continues humanitarian efforts internationally, including supporting plans for a vocational center and performance programs in Kwanyako, Ghana.
