Lisa Cunningham

Lisa Cunningham is the Director of Digital Communications at Black Women’s Health Imperative and a motivational speaker, Diversity Event producer, and LGBTQ Influencer. She is a sought-after producer and director with 20 years of active involvement in the production community in Atlanta.

With a strong footing in health and social justice digital content, Cunningham has produced and directed projects for McDonalds, Ford Motors, W Hotels, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport, The City of Atlanta, The History Channel, and many more. In her work with the Black Women’s Health Imperative, she has developed digital content for national breast and cervical cancer awareness campaigns with talent such as Mary J. Blige and Ciara. Cunningham is also an inspirational speaker and host within the diversity, equity, and inclusion arena and has produced digital content and events within that space.

As an influencer, Cunningham was selected by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to serve on the inaugural LGBTQ Advisory Board for the City of Atlanta and re-engaged with the current Mayor, Andre Dickins, for his Transition Team. Her community involvement continues as a philanthropist who devotes her time to several local charities focused on disadvantaged youth and underserved minorities.

Cunningham launched her career with notable success in the music industry, where she directed and produced over a thousand music videos for chart-topping artists, alongside marketing roles at record labels and private consulting. Seeking a higher purpose, she seamlessly integrated her expertise in digital content and marketing with her passion for public health, DEI, and LGBTQ advocacy. Her most recent endeavor, the documentary 'Me Period,' sponsored by Procter & Gamble, highlights intergenerational conversations between Black mothers and daughters on pre-teen and teen health.
