Lindsey Granger

Lindsey Granger is a journalist, writer, producer, and TEDx speaker whose career spans nearly two decades of storytelling across prominent American media platforms. Granger has interviewed tastemakers and covered stories globally. A Temple University alumna, Granger began her career in broadcast journalism as a versatile, one-person-band reporter before joining NBC Universal, where she wrote and field-produced in several roles at NBC News. She produced coverage of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions for NBC and traveled to London to cover the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Granger's on-air career advanced through a series of high-profile roles. Early in her career, she served as a national correspondent for "The List." She also hosted the nationally syndicated talk show "Daily Blast Live," produced by TEGNA. Granger became a recurring guest host for "The View," where her independent perspective contributed to the daytime program. She has also hosted entertainment and news segments for AOL, PEOPLE, and TIME Magazine. Granger became co-host of "The Hill's Rising," a national weekday morning show based in Washington, D.C., focusing on politics and pop culture, as the show expanded to broadcast television on DC News Now.

Beyond her on-air work, Granger has built a presence behind the camera as a producer and entrepreneur. After her tenure at MSNBC, she expanded her career in Los Angeles, joining Revolt TV as an entertainment supervising producer, where she produced a day-in-the-life profile on NBA player Kevin Durant during his free agency decision. Granger helped create and produce the ELLE.com series "Sole Search," hosted by Melissa Harris-Perry. She co-owns the unscripted production company Gilded Focus, which highlights real stories. Gilded Focus produces a nationally and internationally syndicated travel docuseries airing on DIRECTV, Samsung TV Plus, Roku, Pluto TV, Sky TV, and Fubo, available on 179 international platforms across 56 countries and in 12 languages. The company has developed content for BuzzFeed, USA Today, Elle Magazine, Revolt TV, and other outlets.

Granger's work has earned recognition in journalism and business. She received the Marilyn Fife Scholarship from the Radio, Television, and Film department at Temple University for contributions to the participation of women in broadcasting, cable television, and telecommunications technology. She was named Outstanding Business Woman of the Year by the Denver Business Journal. Granger was a fellow for the International Radio and Television Society and is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

As a public speaker, Granger has shared her philosophy of bold ambition on the TEDx stage. In her TEDx talk, she explored the power of setting intentionally unrealistic goals, discussing how her daily practice of being intentionally unrealistic has contributed to her achievements. Her "Intentionally Unrealistic" TED Talk has garnered more than 100,000 views on YouTube. The talk examines factors contributing to high levels of success and draws on Granger's journey from having no connections in the media industry to becoming a journalist, television host, and multimedia production company owner.
