Lindsay Christinee

Lindsay Christinee is a Philadelphia-based author, entrepreneur, and environmental activist whose career encompasses fashion, journalism, and sustainability advocacy. After working in New York City fashion showrooms, Christinee began her writing career as a ghostwriter for English newspapers in Bangkok. Upon returning to the United States, she settled in Philadelphia's historic district and shifted her professional focus to align with environmental activism and sustainability.

With experience as a stylist and journalist in the fashion industry, Christinee became aware of the environmental and health impacts of clothing production. This awareness prompted her to transition from fashion to concentrate on environmentalism and sustainable living. Her writing has appeared in ReMake, Reader's Digest, Marketplace, Sierra Club, and other publications. Christinee also founded The Wellness Feed, a sustainable lifestyle publication that features interviews with more than 100 brands, offering readers insights into sustainable business practices.

Christinee has delivered speeches and workshops at Philadelphia Earth Day events, Heights Philadelphia, and Wharton University. She advocates for environmental issues as a delegate for the South-Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of Sierra Club, contributed to Philadelphia's Bring Your Own Bag bill, and serves as a stakeholder advisor for the Philadelphia Water Department. Christinee has joined the boards of several local nonprofits, worked on legislation for single-use plastic bans, led community events, and promoted environmental justice for marginalized groups. Her work includes speaking at events, workshops, and schools about climate change and sustainability.

Christinee is the author of "Myths of the Underworld," a collection of short stories inspired by mythologies and personal heritage, including the Blackfeet tribe and Hindu traditions. The book presents ten modern retellings exploring themes of love, vengeance, and the human experience of grief. Throughout her career, Christinee focuses on empowering and engaging communities to participate in climate action and environmental solutions.
