Lilla Rogers

Lilla Rogers is a celebrated illustrator, author, mentor, and former top art agent with over 40 years of experience in the creative industry.

She began her career as a successful illustrator, creating work for The New York Times (including the cover of the Sunday Magazine), Levi’s, Vogue, the Grammys, and more. At the height of her illustration career, Anna Wintour personally commissioned her to dine at any restaurant in New York City and draw whatever she liked—Rogers chose Indochine.

She later founded Lilla Rogers Studio, a globally respected art agency that represented top artists including Lisa Congdon, Helen Dardik, Mike Lowery, Flora Waycott, Sarah Walsh, and many more. The studio’s clients included leading magazines and book publishers, L’Occitane, top advertising agencies, and global brands such as Anthropologie, IKEA, Crate & Barrel, and Blue Q.

As a speaker and educator, Rogers has taught and presented internationally, including retreats and events in Portugal, France, Brighton (UK), and Madrid. She's spoken at top art schools and universities such as Parsons The New School, Rhode Island School of Design, School of Visual Arts NYC, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and for the New York Graphic Artists Guild.

Conference appearances include ICON The Illustration Conference, Creativebug, Spoonflower, SCBWI (as both jurist and panelist), and Creative Connection. She was the closing speaker at Bonnie Christine’s Immersion Live and headliner at The Global Art Gathering in Brighton, UK.

Her media appearances include popular creative podcasts like Windowsill Chats with Margo Tantau, The Inspiration Place, Surface Design Symposium, Sarah Watts’ Purl, and Kelly Rae Roberts. She is also a regular columnist for UPPERCASE magazine and shares insights through her Substack newsletter.
