Lavar Scott

Lavar Scott is an American professional stock car racing driver known for his progression in motorsports and his participation in NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program. Competing full time in the ARCA Menards Series for Rev Racing and part time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Alpha Prime Racing, Scott has recorded multiple top-five and top-10 finishes. His career began at age 5, racing quarter midgets and achieving more than 50 wins, before advancing through legends and late model cars. He earned his first late model victory at Hickory Motor Speedway and secured a win in Mexico’s FB Bhon Mikel’s Truck Series.

Scott’s professional highlights include a notable ARCA Menards Series season, where he achieved 11 top-five and 15 top-10 finishes, finishing second in the championship standings. His Xfinity Series debut at Dover Motor Speedway represented a significant milestone, as he is among the few Black drivers competing at this level.
