Laurie Meadoff

Laurie Meadoff is an executive producer and founder and CEO of The CityKids Foundation, a national organization focused on youth empowerment, social innovation, and cultural diplomacy. Meadoff established a model for youth leadership through creative expression, engaging young people from diverse backgrounds to become active participants in their communities.

Meadoff is a three-time Emmy-nominated producer with credits on networks including MTV, VH1, ABC, Sundance Channel, and National Geographic. Her series "Chat the Planet" reached a global audience, and the web series "Hometown Baghdad" received a Webby Award. As a Rockefeller Fellow, Meadoff co-founded initiatives such as the United Nations Global Mental Health Task Force and contributed to the Brookings Institution’s Cultural Diplomacy initiative. She also serves as a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies, offering insights on Millennial and Gen Z cultural trends through her innovation firm, Authentik Inc.

Meadoff is a public speaker who has addressed forums in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, focusing on leadership, creativity, and social change. She is the creator of the Global School of Artivism and Innovation, which supports young changemakers worldwide. Meadoff’s work bridges media, storytelling, and advocacy, contributing to both the nonprofit and corporate sectors.
