Laurie Forster

Laurie Forster is recognized as one of America's leading wine experts and is known nationally by her trademarked title, The Wine Coach. A former software sales executive, Forster began her wine career in Manhattan, where she studied with the American Sommelier Association to obtain her certificate in viticulture and vinification. She earned an advanced certificate with merit from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and has trained with the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. Forster is known for her accessible approach to wine education, often sharing her experiences to connect with audiences of all experience levels.

Forster is the author of the book "The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine," which established her as a resource for demystifying wine. She hosts "The Sipping Point" and developed the mobile application "The Wine Coach," which has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast, Departures International Magazine, and Go Mobile Solutions.
