Lauren Marie Galley is an award-winning teen mentor, TEDx speaker, Amazon best-selling author, and the President and founder of Girls Above Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering tween and teen girls with confidence, leadership, and positive social values.

She created Girls Above Society at a young age to give girls the tools to navigate today’s media-driven world with resilience and strength. The organization’s signature “GIRL TALK” program builds self-confidence and leadership skills through peer-to-peer mentorship and educational workshops.

Lauren’s work has taken her across the U.S. as a keynote speaker on topics such as body image, leadership, self-confidence, and anti-bullying — and she’s appeared in national media including Fox News, CNN, Teen Vogue, and others. Her TEDx talk, #TextMe — The Elimination of Human Interaction, explores the impact of technology on communication in today’s youth.

As an author, Lauren’s books like Girls Above Society: Steps to Success — An Empowerment Guide and Kissing Frogs: In Search of Prince Charming have resonated with young readers and reached Amazon best-seller status.

She is also a contributing writer to The Huffington Post and has been recognized as a Changemaker by The White House at the State of Women Summit.
